I often depict women prominently in my drawing; the morbidezza aesthetic of their appearance is very appealing at the visual level, and their social roles and archetypes, such as "mother", "lover", and others are spiritually inspiring as well. I am inclined to show the other more tensional side of women in addition to the softer side of their femininity. Despite the physiological differences between men and women, their intelligence and anima, great and brave heart, far surpass the limitations of gender. In the face of an enemy, even if alone, she can unleash the ferocious cruelty of a wolf. Inner strength is the ultimate power, after all.
