Preparation for a career as a graphic designer can start at a four-year, accredited art school.

At an art school, you can often concentrate in either illustration, painting, photography, design or even sculpture. Most schools will offer at least an undergraduate degree, with some of the bigger schools having a graduate program for students who already have a four-year degree.

Baseball films are a different breed. While Football movies usually serve more of an inspirational purpose, baseball films usually have more of a comedic presence, or find a way to hone in on the nature of the game and why Americans love it so much.

While there are a lot of junk films involving the sport of baseball, there are certainly some which are worth seeing. The following are my favorite baseball films of all time.

Released just last year, Sugar is a must see for any fan of baseball. This film gives a truthful look at the journey of a dominant player from the Dominican Republic, who has big dreams, but no clue of the journey he will have to go on to reach the Pros.

While the original Major League film set the precedent, Major League 3 remains my favorite in this series of baseball movies. This is one of Charlie Sheen’s best roles and any time this movie is on, I feel the need to watch it in its entirety.

The original Bad News Bears is another one that has to make my list. Walter Matthau plays the iconic Coach Buttermaker, and this movie is a great watch for the whole family.  Read more...

Now, before I begin talking about this monumental landmark, I need to inform you that the name of the building had been changed to the Burj Khalifa, not very long after it’s unveiling.

Dubai decided to change its name as a means of showing it’s appreciation for the financial aid it received from Abu Dhabi, a country next door that helped out immensely while the world economy sunk to a state of crisis last year.

Anyway, this is a special building that’s truly unlike any other landmark in the world. You’ve probably seen it mentioned on the news, but let’s take a closer look at some of the key highlights that make this the most exquisite building the world has ever seen.

To begin with, it has more than 160 floors that are inhabitable. Along with that, there is also apartment space there that was offered for just about $2,000 per square foot at its height.

You read that right – nearly 4 million dollars is what an apartment that is 2,000 square feet would have been sold for. Luckily, the prices have gone down considerably to about half of that, but, WOW, that is some majorly expensive real estate!  Read more...
